Medical Director

The company was founded by Dr. Gabriel Lasala, a cardiologist since 1988 who is the president of TCA Clinic, a group of 11 cardiologists in Covington, Louisiana. Dr. Lasala is also the president of TCA Research, a company with extensive experience in clinical trials.  He has been involved in research since 1981.

Scientific Director

Dr. Jose J Minguell, has been working closely with Dr. Gabriel Lasala for over five years. He is a distinguished and renowned scientist for his contributions to research in the field of the Biology of Adult Stem Cells. Until 2006, Dr. Minguell was the Director of Department of Cellular Therapy, INTA, Universidad de Chile in Santiago, and also lead the Bone Marrow Transplant Program Laboratory at Clinica Las Condes, Santiago Chile. In 2007 he relocated to Covington, LA and became the Scientific Director of LifeSource Cryobank, LLC and TCA Cellular Therapy.

Administrative Director

LifeSource’s Administrative Director is Vicki Nicely , who has extensive experience in clinical trials, and has been instrumental in all administrative and regulatory processes of clinical trials as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) and business partner of TCA Research, LLC for the past eight years.

Public Relations Director

Erica Morel, has an extensive background in health care as a registered nurse with surgical experience. Erica's vast exposure to the medical field has prepared her with the knowledge needed to provide the guidance and tools necessary for LifeSource marketing. Additionally, she is instrumental in educational and in-service programming to physicians, nurses and lifesource clientele.
